Well, our family has been coming to Oasis of Love Tabernacle for 12 years now. God led our footsteps to our family. Both my husband, Dennis, & myself had grown up in an organized church and were trying our best to help revive our church where we were attending. But to our amazement, nobody was changing except us! Then thru God's providence we got back into contact with our dear friends, Roger & Sandra Morris (who attend Oasis). And you can say the rest is history. The first Sunday we attended Oasis of Love Tabernacle, Dennis was taking a shower and he heard the Lord say "Don't go there", and Dennis said "Don't go where". (we weren't quite sure which church to attend as we had another church in mind as well as Oasis) So when we pulled into the other church's parking lot, Dennis asked me where I wanted to go and I told him, "You know where I want to go" (Oasis!)
and at that moment, God spoke to him and told him "Don't go in there". So we exited the parking lot and from that moment on we've been here at Oasis. We haven't been the same since. That was a turning point for Dennis & myself. God has done a work in our family. God has sinced blessed us with a Plumbing Business, A wonderful Child named Lori Beth, and has sustained us thru many situations. We are truly blessed to be here at Oasis of Love Tabernacle. We have truly learned who we are in Christ. We are Vibrant Spirit beings living in an earthly body spreading God's Love to a world in darkness. God has really been sharing that with our family lately. We are so truly thankfull to Our Wonderful, Most Gracious, Awesome God that He brought us here. We are blessed to be here and be connected with our Oasis of Love Tabernacle family. He knew that 12 years ago that we needed this family and that this family needed us. Our family has a particular scripture that we have gleened from since we've been here at Oasis, it's John's 14:1, (from the Message Bible)
"Don't let this throw you. You trust God, don't you? There is plenty of room for you in my Father's Home. If that weren't so would I have told you that I'm on my way to get a room ready for you? And if I'm on my way to get your room ready, I'll come back and get you so you can live where I live. And you already know the road I'm taking."
God showed us that He had a place for us, which is in Him, and He had already prepared Himself for us to come to and dwell in Him and Him in us. We are his workmanship, we are his House to dwell in on this earth, so that we may radiate God's Love.
